We had a lovely time last Tuesday entertaining 18 lovely ladies from the Weobley Craft Group from the beautiful village of Weobley in Herefordshire. They arrived at approximately 11.15 and spent their time browsing through all the new seasons yarns and publications only interupted by tea, coffee, biscuitsĀ and cakes!

After an hour and a half it was time for Patricia Baggot the group organiser to wake up Bob (the coach driver) from his slumbers, round up the ladiesĀ and head off to Knutsford for lunch and a visit to a local craft shop in the afternoon. Patricia later said that the ladies wished they had have had longer to spend with us at Stash Fine Yarns. We look forward to welcoming Patricia and the Weobley Craft Group again in the near future.
I belong to the Weobley Craft Group and really enjoyed looking at your lovely selection of yarn. I do wish we lived nearer, particularly with regard to taking part in your workshops. But with the wonder of the web I shall look forward to looking at what’s new and what is going on.
It took us over three hours to get home to Herefordshire…. the driver went through Lymm and was going towards Preston at one stage.
Fibre and Clay had some inspirational craft knitting and pottery pieces. I think they are linked in to “Selvedge”.
They had some lovely fine crochet squares measuring about 2 inches in diameter, made in to waistcoats and scarves The yarn was variegated and looked like kid silk or 3 ply weight.
(Ideas abound.) See you again soon I hope, regards, Jocelyn
